What
is the MS Circle of Friends F.R.O.G.S. Group?
We are a
self-help group whose participants share a common interest in Multiple
Sclerosis. We gather once a month
to meet new friends, educate ourselves, share our experiences and help others. Our monthly
group meetings feature a variety of subjects and activities, all with the
purpose of living well with MS. The
Goals of Our Group: 1.
To
share information – including various guest
speakers (physicians, nurses, therapists, specialists, etc.), the latest news on
research and treatments, disability issues, techniques in managing stress,
coping skills and much more. 2.
To
raise moral – our group meetings provide an
open, caring atmosphere where people may discuss common issues in a positive
environment. We share personal
experiences and successes as a way to help and to inspire each other.
We also participate in various social activities to add some flavor to
life.
